The mission of the Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) is to provide specialized behavioral /interventions/services to adolescents and children in their caseload. He/She follows a detailed treatment plan, which the Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) or the Mobile Therapist (MT) created. The BSC and/or MT will supervise all specialized behavioral services and interventions provided by the TSS. He/She must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to provide these services to clients with a wide variety of mental health needs.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree (preferably in a Human Services field) or be a licensed RN/LPN with at least one to three years of experience working with children or adolescents. The TSS may have an associate's degree or 60 college credits with the equivalent of at least three years full-time experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or adolescents. He/She must have certifications in CPR/First Aid and an unrestricted driver's license. In addition, he/she must be proficient with computers and able to intervene and control agitated clients through non-physical interventions.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
