File Clerk-Per Diem
Responsibilities The Film Record Associate is responsible for maintaining, retrieving, transmitting, and transporting of all imaging exams from Pottstown Hospital, Careplex, and Boyertown Imaging.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of functions including, but not limited to, answering inquiries, explaining ROI process, resolving problems and interacting with patients, physician offices, and outside agencies.
Coordinate the need for copies on CD.
Performing data entry functions to track each request.
Representing the hospital in a professional manner using excellent customer service practices in performing all duties.
Ensuring that all Inpatient, Outpatient, and ED images are received in the department.
Also responsible for notifying provider's offices of significant findings and sending Act 112 letters to patients.
Assists Radiologists with contacting providers and obtaining outside imaging.
Qualifications Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Experience Medical terminology Epic Required Skills Excellent Communications Skills Excellent Interpersonal Skills General Clerical Skills Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Word Multi Line Telephone Operational Skills Recommended Skills Administration Communication Customer Service Data Entry Imaging Interpersonal Skills Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
