Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor
Registered Nurse Supervisor needed in Pottstown ,PA
Contract : 9 weeks
shift : 8hrs Evenings
Gross weekly :$2400
Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Administer medications and treatments using aseptic technique
- Perform catheterizations as needed
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks for documentation
- Coordinate and oversee behavioral health services
- Assist with dialysis procedures as required
- Manage acute pain management for patients
- Administer inhaled medications as prescribed
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in PA
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, with number years in a leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge and experience in pediatrics and diagnostic evaluation
- Proficient in aseptic technique and catheterization procedures
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as eClinicalWorks, is preferred
- Experience in behavioral health is a plus
